That's assuming they get shot, and not just trampled because of the crowd trying to escape. There are other ways to get injured in these types of attacks. Also CPR is just one aspect of life support systems one can learn. You can take what he said literally, or just understand the concept of what he was trying to get across. First aid and fire safety courses are in the same realm of a CPR class, and again much more effective in terms of time management than a circle jerk of uninformed people yelling about gun rights.

"How about kids instead of looking to someone else to solve their problem, do something about maybe taking CPR classes or trying to deal with situations that when there is a violent shooter that you can actually respond to that,"
So, taking other classes or simply understanding how to help deal with situations by learning actionable skills. Most of what people do is not productive to solving anything. You can listen to his thoughts or not. It's not gonna keep me up at night either way. ---
