You do know relationships and especially marriage isn't all rainbows and butterflies right and also not a guarantee of anything? While I sure would like a relationship at some point and perhaps even my own kids I'm not that bothered about marriage and I certainly don't feel jealous of other people who have those things.

The idea of sharing your life with another is whatever up or down you may experience, there is someone else involved in your life that took an oath to follow you down that path. True, as different people they might be the source of that tumultuousness but learning to overcome and grow out of it is part of the journey.

I get that. But at this stage in my life I feel like I'm living my life talking to a wall.

I guess there's so many things going right in my life that I feel like I want everything to be complete.

I think the only thing I truly want in life is a companion. I don't know if I'd make a good companion myself but at least having the opportunity is greatly desired.

I dabbled with online dating last year but didn't like who eHarmony was giving me. I only met one person I thought I'd have a shot with and that ended up not working.

I want to pick it back up again with Match.com but I haven't actually taken the plunge yet.
