One of my good friends is having vertigo issues. He needed a ride to see his doctor. So I'm chauffeuring him around today. We'll go have lunch after his appointment. Tonight, I'm going to an a school play to support a family member.

It's the leisure life for me.

I help my wife 7 days a week with various tasks for the business. On Wednesdays, I cook at a diner (I'm friends with the owner). I'm only doing it because they asked me for my help. It's a fast placed, from scratch breakfast joint and it's super fun. Plus I'm done at 4pm, just in time for happy hour.

its fucking fantastic. everyone there is nice, bus is easy to drive, and generally the work is enjoyable.

idk if i should feel bad or not because i swear the residents are conditioned to be in a good mood when they see me. I'm the face they see when they get to leave a place that is generally very difficult for a lot of them to get out of, so they tend to be happy whenever they see me.

My boss is pretty awesome. seems like she is just happy to have someone available with a flexible schedule who only lives about 2 min. away, who doesnt say "no" or bitch every time they are asked to do something. Edit: im certain the fact that i offered to do it for minimum wage also has something to do with it.

There is no one point of life; enjoying it is definitely a great thing

There is a greater focus on growing/developing spiritually. The reason why the world is in such a shitty state now is because many people don't focus on growing outside of material means. This was one of the reasons I just gave up on becoming a licensed accountant, it felt so "empty" and once/if I became one I know I would hate it and probably leave it anyway

Being a better person (spiritual) is literally in everyone's face but people ignore it. It's sad :'(

To be fair, Religion pretty much destroyed spiritual growth because that was one of its intentions, to control people with fear by keeping them far from the "truth". That's why it hurts when people think spiritual=religious. You couldn't be any further from the truth

Then again, free will exists too which is why life can have many points. Hopefully some people here know the above, but more likely than not people are just going to gloss over this and continue and argue about bs lol.
