I mean I remember it being decided the Courier would steamroll the Lone Wanderer (and tbh, he'd beat the Sole Survivor too), but what about this match-up?

Ones a literal dragon in human form, possibly mantling a god, with near-unlimited power potential, and the other is pretty much just an average dude in every way aside from being a capital-H Hero

Well, considering that the champion eventually became the new Sheogorath, I think he's got this one.

Not canon so no.

*Someone* became Sheogorath (at least for a time) but it is not canonically the CoC

He was named the new Sheogorath in an Oblivion expansion. How's that not canon?

Doing that expansion does not necessitate being the CoC.

Just like Dawnguard wasnt necessarily done by the Dovahkiin. Dragonborn was, as its directly related

Even a dev has stated this

The same character that you play in Oblivion becomes Sheogorath. Can't really be more clear than that. Saying that it wasn't necessary to do in the game doesn't change the fact that it could be done and was done, so that's the canon. They even dropped hints that Sheogorath was involved in the Oblivion crisis in Skyrim, which he wasn't the case unless the champion that was involved went on to become the new Sheogorath.

Sheogorath in Skyrim mentions obscure references to Oblivion as A) an easter egg, and B) because hes a fucking god and knows what happened. SOMEONE became Sheogorath, nobody is debating that.

The protag of each game only canonically 100% does the MQ (and related like Tribunal, Dragonborn). Any guilds or sidequests etc are up to your interpretation.

Youre wrong, the people who made the game say youre wrong, and ive been talking about this for 7+ years by now.

That's just nonsense. The character you play as becomes Sheogorath in Oblivion and the Sheogorath in Skyrim specifically mentions being involved in the Oblivion crisis. So, "someone" became the new Sheogorath and that "someone" just so happened to do the exact stuff that your character did, and somehow that gets interpreted as someone else doing it? Please, the only way they're not the same would be if a different person became Sheogorath after the champion decided to stop playing that role,at which point you'd still say that him at this best was stronger than the dragonborn at his best.

Provide the link to the dev supposedly saying that this wasn't the case. I'm almost willing to bet that it's an "interpret at your own will" sort of thing.
