I take my sisters' to school and it's a preppy suburb area outside of the outskirts of Los Angeles. And one of the few far right cities down here in SoCal.

And whenever I need to go to the school. Every access point is locked from the outsiders and you need to ring the front door through a camera intercom. Then that's the only time you can get in.

All these shootings don't really get to you unless you have kids or siblings who you look after personally. The school district here has had a bunch of threats lately too and the police department have been on top of it.

Shits crazy nowadays man.

Hold on... you can just freely walk into schools in the US??

We have by law I think here the requirement that they have the internally released locks and monitoring that you describe because of the issues we had with nonces. Same as how all doors need to have windows in them.

Open your bag? Have the teacher walk around.

And then done? That's like 5 min tops.

I remember this too quite clearly.

Actually High School is the same. My youngest sister her elementary is strict but other sister. Which I used to go to HS too still actually can let anyone walk in.

Yea, I'm sure that bag checking would stop school shooting.
Most school shooters usually carry guns to school daily just in case they decide today is the day.
