my two favorites:

after interviewing well for a job, George's potential boss fails to communicate whether he will get the job or not. so he decides to show up and pretend that he was hired.

after going on a date with a woman, he purposely leaves Elaine's hat behind in an attempt to score a second date.

My favourite is when he turns his name into a jingle to try to get a second date, after stealing the chicks clock.

"Jerry. She asked me if I had the time! Do you think she knows?"

is that the same episode as the hat one?

I'm currently re-watching the entire series on Hulu (for the hell of it while I play video games), and I'm on Season 8. Love this show.

I've always wanted to do a "Was Costanza justified" topic where I go through each episode and talk about whether or not George was justified in his storyline for that episode, to see where the cumulative scale tips by the end of the series. I didn't get around to it on this watch through though. There are a lot of episodes that portray George as the bumbling petty fool when he was justified in his actions.

Episodes off the top of my head are the episode where George's girlfriend takes credit for the big salad he bought for Elaine, and the episode where he has to maneuver a marble rye back into the Ross' apartment because his parents de-gifted it.
