Take harder stances to stop bullying.

Nearly every kid that shoots up a school is a male that has been heavily bullied and has a history of depression. It gets so bad that the pain theyre feeling along with diminished self worth become greater than their feelings of mercy and self preservation. It doesnt help that social media keeps kids from being able to escape their tormentors.

Nothing can excuse these shooters behavior but when you see how vile and brutal children can be towards each other you can start to understand how much pain some kids are living with. Schools and parents need to do a better job to make sure that schools are safe not only physically but also emotionally for developing minds.

3. Mandated annual leave. Everyone seems to point to Australia in the gun control debate. Their month of vacation time and ten paid holidays a year means lower stress.

5. Ban the practice of advertising pharmaceuticals

6. Charge doctors with bribery for accepting kickbacks from pharmaceutical companies for pushing their products.

Why only stop school shootings? America has a mass shooting almost every day. Stop them all.

To bad the obvious, simple answer would never work because Americans are some of the most change resistant people around. And they are always full of excuses that boil down to America somehow being "different" from the 100 or so other 1st world countries that don't have this problem.
Hell, Japan makes all of us look like savages, they have a murder rate of something like 0.3 out of every 100,000 people. A culture where praying on women is ignored, suicide is almost encouraged, and their entire history was built on violence.
