so game companies these days have no respect or thought for how quick any console fills up REALLY QUICK with less than 10 games on it. fuck it

Any online game that forces installs is great. You won't have to wait for slowpokes to load the game that don't install. As for single player games, it should remain an option but not be forced.

Cheaper than digital copies

You can get a game on day 1 for 48 dollars if you have Best Buy GCU or Amazon Prime, not to mention that if you wait even a month you can usually find discounts on the game you want (except for Nintendo games >_<) AND GCU stacks with the lower price. Meanwhile, digital copies stay full price.

because me and so many others like my age came from growing up with dozens of game cartridges on a shelf and we just insert that bitch in and play - didn't matter if it was 5 games to choose from or 50 - everything was accessible.

This is the reason PS4 is really Digital, the Discs are just starts ups and sold for people with no internet

Pretty sure you can. I think you just need to sign in the the account that downloaded the game first.

Or on the primary PS4 anyone can access it

Er, where is it 4 bucks? And I will gladly admit that digital sales can be amazing, but they're few and far between whereas physical discounts are much more common, and the digital discounts usually at best match physical prices, but they're almost never better. Steam sales are a godsend though.

Now maybe if digital prices were discounted right off the bat it would be more viable to go digital, since publishers don't have to worry about physical distribution like they do with physical copies, but they'd rather be greedy and try to get the full 60, which is kinda funny considering they don't get the full 60 with physical copies anyways.

you can resell the game, keep it if you ever lose your account or servers die for good, based on your internet connection the install may be far faster from disc than if you get the whole thing off the download marketplace

i have no problem with this since it improves loading time.

Step 1-buy console. Step 2-install much bigger HDD before you even bother playing anything.
Once you've done the base install of the disc then you're almost certainly going to get a patch of equal or larger size so all it's doing is giving you an offline base copy you can run if you don't have net available. With PC it's not so bad buying digital because you have some possibility of recourse/refund if it goes badly but on console once you've paid, that's it. You either return the physical copy to a store, sell it or say goodbye to your money so these days all the disc is to use as a receipt to get money back.
