I slathered them in ketchup and butter and wrapped them up in saran wrap and put them in the fridge for two days so they are definitely marinated by now.

no, it gives it flavor. honestly next time don't post this, it makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about. why use saran wrap if you're going to take it off?

Microwave it first for 30nseconds to help remove the wrap and then grill
