I'm not sure. I had a job a few years ago that started me off at 9.80 l, which was almost a dollar more than their minimum. A woman who had been there at least a couple years longer had only started around 9.30 and was twice my age. She could have probably claimed gender bias if she wanted, but wage increases and different staffing could have also been factors.

You'd have to have a sample size of more than 2 to actually have a case regarding that.

This is normal and its not along gender lines

This was a job in a kitchen, so it was totally physical. We had the same exact position, but like I mentioned earlier it may have been due to having different people hiring us. I just thought it was weird when I found out about our starting pay since it was my first real job. I agree it's not a strong case.

Lol, that was your job too? I wonder how many copy paper boxes Ive had to carry over the year, just due to the women not wanting to have to get a dolly or risk hurting themselves. Its all good, though.
