Crash games are amazing bro

Crash is 2.5D at best. Also they're really bad games and was generations behind Mario 64... which came out earlier.

I'm not saying all of the PS1 games are better than all of the N64 games. TBH Banjo-Kazooie is he single best platformer of that gen

To be totally fair there's a lot more 'good' platformers on the PS1.
