I've been thinking about this a lot lately for, uh, reasons.
I generally prefer older guys, usually 4-6 years older than me (I'm 21 currently). I've gone up to 10 years older though.

It tends to be the case that slightly older guys are actually on my level, whereas younger ones (18-22ish) tend to not "get" me at all (in my experience).
What about y'all?

Beyond keeping it legal (16+ here), I'm really not fussed. My partner who I've been with for just over three and a half years is 20 (21 next month), I'm 26 (27 in July).

If speaking solely for hookups, I would range 18-30
If speaking for potential long-term partners, I'd range 21-27.

I was engaged to a woman 9 years older than me when I was 19; biggest mistake of my life.

I'd have to say within +/- 3 years. Older or younger than that, I start seeing them as my brother or sisters age range and it just feels weird.

im 35. for younger, the age of the person isn't as important as where she is in life WRT career (needs to have one) being ready to 'settle down'. for older, it would also be more about where she is in life. i wouldn't want to date a woman smack in the middle of raising three kids, for example, but one with a single, younger child would be OK.

I had a date with a 21 year old girl last month and got a date with a 20 year old this week. Had some very interesting conversations with a 40 year old goth woman when I was 25 but she chickened out of meeting up.

Yeah dating is a bit different for me. Hookups, I can see a wider age range as being okay.

26, I would go as low as 20, but very reluctantly. I would potentially date a woman in her mid 40s if she was attractive though

34. I prefer women in their 30s, but if I was single I would prob go about mid 20s to early 40s.
