AvantgardeAClue 02/13/18 1:32:23 AM #1:	You had loads of promise in the Ezio trilogy, I remember being uber hyped to see how it's handled, then then AC3 fucks it all up by turning it into a 2012 doomsday scenario and ~~killing off Desmond~~ AC4 was a nice little breather, but Unity completely ignored the story and Syndicate was just some random Assassin hijinks. It was actually a sensible approach, if you think about it. So many "fans" bitched about Desmond and the modern day story anyway. The way they did it, players didn't really have to sit through those parts anymore, but there were still plenty of hints about what was happening for those that cared enough to pay attention. Spoilers for those four games: Juno escaped the Precursor site at the end of AC3, then hacked herself into Abstergo's systems. She reincarnated her husband in 4, then used Abstergo's Helix system in Unity and Syndicate to gather more power for herself. By playing those two games, we became in-universe characters that were contributing to the Helix and to Juno. Sure it was overhyped but once you got past the overly long intro it really did live up to most of it....in the historical segments anyway.
