Yeah. It works like Demon's Souls in that 3's equivalent to "human" form, where you are open to invasions and can summon, is also tied to you having max health.

Eh I dont really like that. I liked in DS2 when multiplayer was always active.

DS3 also won't target lone hosts with invaders after 1 invasion. Until they summon help again or try to invade.
And it regresses back to online being dead (save for red sign summons) in areas with a dead boss. And there's no bonfire ascetics. Also DS3 got rid of a whole weapon type, undid weapons having full movesets in the off-hand, no powerstancing either. Hexes are heavily regressed. Nah. Enemies can get quite fast and aggressive, it shares Bloodborne's boss complexity, has some pretty obnoxious/BS enemies just like 2 and some of the hardest bosses throughout all 5 games.
