I played Calamity Trigger forever ago, was alright, got Chrono Phantasm Extend when I went on a fighting game kick in 2016, was pretty good, got Central Fiction last year but they sent me a wrong region copy so the DLC wouldn't work so I returned it and never bothered again

Central Fiction is the #1 fighting game of all time

I've reached a point where I can fight tournament players like Kizzie Kay or Betadood, online, and actually manage to win. Never thought I'd be good at fighting games so the feeling is amazing

Story is confusing as AF. Characters are really good.

Calamity Trigger was my shit back when it came out. It helped that I was able to play dudes like KV and Jan through mutual friends. Too bad Tager had 3 semi impossible match ups in that game.

I have CS, CSE, and CPE lying around, but I couldn't get into them like CT.

I've all but given up on the series by this point though. No one plays it anymore.

I played one of them. Liked the actual game, but the plot felt like some Jr High student's fiction project based on everything he thought was cool about anime.

Good series, even if the plot trainwrecked super hard in CP. Have a very hard time coming back to it after playing Under Night, though.
