If you knew me better after all these years you'd see that much more as a spit take on a brewing rant for a later time.

The main point being that this current outrage culture that we live in has all but ruined satire outside of very rigid lines that didn't exist before every sniveling snowflake had a platform to bitch from.

Off the top of my head I could think of easily a dozen things from within our own lifetimes that would never see the light of day now because the internet outrage machine would be on it like flies on shit before it ever got off the ground.
