I get very nervous when I have to talk to a faceless stranger. it's always unconformable to me, when I have to do it. it's so bad that if I know I have to do it, or like say someone is going to call me, like for a phone interview about my SSI benefits, I stress over it all day until it's over. I don't like talking to people I don't know. and when on top of that, I can't see their face, it just freaks me out because I have no idea what they are thinking and I can't tell if I am angering them. I always worry I will say the wrong thing and get in trouble.

Maybe they don't have faces at all and that's why they're delegated to a place where no one can see them

they don't care if someone is awkward, and they definitely don't want to be on the phone with anyone, either.

nowadays, however, there's online chat, so you still talk to a person, just like you do now, on message boards. that's an alternative you should try.

I don't like to talk with others over the phone. Especially people I don't know or barely know.

Pushing that green phone button after punching the numbers is really scary.

my brother is a lawyer. I can ask him to sue for me

it got resolved....sortof. the app now claims I will pay tonight. and my parents got back from church and said that if i get shut off, they will help me tomorrow to work it out. but I am probably going to take it as an excuse to just fuck off from verizon and switch to GCI. it's local and my entire family is with them except me.

I think I finally know what happened. it's solved by the way. they sent a message saying thanks for the payment. last month for some reason they said I had credit to apply and I had a reduced charge that month. and now I wonder if something involving that in their computer system caused confusion for this month. like it was forgetting the credit and thinking I didn't pay last month or something.

His brother, if he really is a lawyer, who makes 100+ dollars an hour will put days of work into suing his brother's phone carrier because his brother refused to call them over a 50 dollar payment.

he actually is a lawyer. I don't think he makes 100 dollars an hour, but he is a lawyer. he went to law school in WA, did the BAR twice and can practice law in both WA and Alaska. he tried to get a job in Hawaii but they rejected him. if he had gotten that job I'd probably be living in Hawaii right now cause my parents moved to be with the grandkids.
