In-game, this can only be a good thing, and I'd enjoy it. But it would turn competitive play on its head, and Smogon would go up in flames trying to figure out how to balance the metagame for the change. So many powerful sweepers would be able to use one more coverage move and knock out even more Pokemon that would otherwise wall them. Defensive Pokemon wouldn't benefit nearly as much, and the metagame would go hyper-offensive in a heartbeat.

Pokemon could use that tbh, walls are infuriating and they slow the game down too much
