Depends on how rich the frosting is. If its super rich like buttercream I will just eat the cake part. If its a lighter whipped frosting though Ill eat the whole thing.

I'm with mead on this. It all depends on the type of frosting. Super thick and sugary, will not eat. Light and whipped, gobble gobble!

This topic was not very well thought out. Undone by frosting. Curses!

I like unfrosted cake, too. Chocolate cake with a very light dusting of powdered sugar is awesome.

I hate frosting, I won't eat cake that has it. I don't complain and try to get my own cake but I absolutely can't stand frosting.

i'd rather have an unfrosted piece of cake, with some ice cream on it.

frosting ruins cake.

I unabashedly love frosting and will eat as much of it as I can get on my cake. Especially if it's a real freshly made buttercream. Frosting decorations? Give me the thickest chunk of that you've got!

Frosting exists to keep cake from drying out. Then when you go to eat the cake, you scrape off the frosting and replace it with ice cream.

I don't like frosting, but I'll still eat it/most of it unless it's like some kid's cake and just coated in it in which case I just scrape it off and eat the cake.

I also don't like whip cream. I'm a terribly unhealthy eater, but whip cream is literally just flavorless whipped fat. Like why?

Flavorless whipped cream is bad whipped cream made wrong. Gotta add that sugar and vanilla!

Whipped cream is pretty meh though. I just like the creaminess with some pies.

I don't like much variation in pie. Basically french silk or whatever. As long as the mousse isn't overturned you don't need the whip cream.
