This isn't even a question.

I can't practically use thousands of pounds of pennies. I can't even practically independently verify the cash value of my mountains of pennies. I'd have to hire someone to store my money, hire someone to count my money, and then convince someone to take it and deposit its value to turn it into useful currency.

It'd be better used as a super power. Dropping tons of pennies on things. Levies broke? A wall of pennies. Some guy stole your phone? Drop a bag of pennies on him.

yes. so you can cash out at the end of the first week and get your pennies, then a week later you can cash out the more up to date value and get the updated amount of pennies, etc (you don't get the whole value every time you cash out, just the difference from the last time you cashed out)

Pennies, provided all currency issues (why are there so many pennies, these must be forged) gets solved.

After the initial hurdles of cashing in the pennies, for my first big paycheck, i personally don't have to do anything ever again, and then I have infinite money.

This will all happen in like a month.

Send trucks to the bank to deposit money into your account.

Pay everyone by bank transfer.

Pay for everything using credit/debit card or withdraw paper money from ATMs.

Yeah, you screwed the scenario up. It's usually supposed to be 4 weeks/month and people will pick the million because they don't realize how much doubling a penny a day would actually end up being.

Now you're doing it for infinite amount of time? A doubled penny a day is a no brainer.

The pennies just sound so crazy unmanageable apart from hiring many assistants. In the plus side there isn't really a downside to them stealing pennies since they are completely replaceable.

Honestly selling the pennies as copper sounds easier than trying to keep track of the number of pennies.

Zinc itself is worth about 55 cents a pound.

Presumably, I can have the bank hire more tellers as temps. A thousand people on the job would make it go a lot faster.

And then when they want to charge me thirty thousand bucks or so for the labor I had them hire, sure, take .01% of the pennies. Why not?

But the copper plating makes that a problem, when you melt down zinc it doesn't always play nice with other metals. I used to work in a place that did zinc die casting, any bad parts we put in the remelt bin had to have all the steel screws and stuff taken out first or else it caused fires.
