Curse thee console players! I'll be waiting till Augustish before it releases to PC. On the plus side, they'll be plenty of resource material several months from now.
I'm still torn between sword and shield, light bowgun, and maybe even charge blade. I like the mobility of the sword and shield but kinda feel the extra omph from the charge blade would be useful at times. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo! Surprise surprise. i don't, and i shall tell you for why frame rate is garbage, controls suck (though this seems to be normal), there's a shit ton of graphical clipping, combat is very slow and clunky, and i fell through the map seven times during the beta. seven times. and then a week later the game released, so nothing was fixed. meanwhile  --- i could be your whore. ... I don't know if I like or dislike the fact that armor pieces all have individual skills now

The MHW character creator is actually really impressive at giving you lots of options but somehow leans toward your character being good looking rather than a monstrosity like in Skyrim.
