classic sonic plays nothing like classic sonic
modern sonic ironically probably the best version of modern sonic but gameplay still mediocre.

game extremely short. I got it for $10 because I stacked a ton of coupons and I thought it was okay for what I paid for it but I'd have felt ripped off if I paid $40.

I only watched the game grumps play it, and that was good enough for me. modern sonic games are trash.

Everything about Infinite was so hilariously bad including his backstory and his defeat. Liam fucking sold his voice acting,tho.

Calling bullshit on this being the best Modern Sonic gameplay.

Its the best of the three in Forces for sure, but this is hands down the worst iteration of boost gameplay in the franchises history. They took the inaccurate complaint about boost2win and made it accurate by removing every other move Sonic had except Stomp and Homing Attack. Whenever something cool happens, Sonic does it, not you.

Short hops, slides, drifting, those all felt great. Theyre all gone. Its like Sonic Team heard Arin say Drifting while running has got to be the dumbest thing I ever heard and actually went with that.

It's terrible. It's worse than Sonic 06 in my opinion. Sonic 06 was technically worse, in that it was an unfinished game. Sonic Forces was a polished, finished game, but it sucked on the fundamental level of game design. Some of the worst level design I've ever seen in a game. Just horrible.

Honest to God, its exactly that bad. I got it for Christmas and I still want my money back. Not that Id ever give my mom shit for buying something I clearly put on my list. My mistake, not hers.

Generations was good. Colors was good. Unleashed was at least half good.

Forces is bad.

Honestly the Classic Sonic portion was the worst part. The physics and level design were atrocious and antithetical to what made the old games work.

Fair enough. 90% of the time though, modern Sonic is terrible. And you can usually tell when that will be the case just from the premise of the game.
