A lot of the different versions offered were just ways to sell Kickstarter goodies after the game launched. There's really only two versions that matter: Pillars of Eternity, and Pillars of Eternity Definitive Edition which contains the expansion.

Grab the Humble Paradox Bundle for $7 to get your feet wet, and if you like it maybe wait for a sale on the expansion pass.

oh I think you're looking at key reseller sites, because they've condensed the number of versions on official stores. Pillars of Eternity = Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition. Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition = Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition. Pillars of Eternity: Champion Edition is no longer on sale, and the digital extras were added to the Royal Edition. Pillars of Eternity: The White March is the expansion, which is included in the Definitive Edition.

Keep in mind that sometimes the charities are delisted for whatever reason. I keep donating to Planned Parenthoods that are further and further away from me - you're welcome, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic!

It ended up just short of 4.75, so we're missing the sea monsters, fishing and Ydwin. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they showed up in the expansion though.
