A lot of Anime have poorly mixed audio where you need external speakers or head phones to hear what the characters are saying. It's like the characters are constantly whispering or the music/sound effects/ambiance is louder than the voices.

You watching dub or sub first off? What shows have this issue? seen it in plenty of tv shows and movies but almost never a cartoon --- If you quote Endgame, you get ignored too, even if you have something of value to say... ... Copied to Clipboard!

dubbed and subbed only time i have EVER seen this was when Crunchy or Funi uploaded a shit file by accident and then fixed it soon after.
