I don't speak Japanese, and, according to a lot of YouTubers I follow who live in Japan, this would mean that I would only be qualified to teach English in Japan. So, no. But if I spoke Japanese fluently, I would consider it. I'd have a better life in South Korea or some other Asian country tho, tbqh.

i'd go for vacation. but i don't speak the language or know anyone there and don't really wanna start over and leave everyone here.

I eventually planned on teaching English in another country anyways. Might as well take the free trip. I know enough about Spoken Japanese to get by general everyday conversation. Not much, but enough.

Granted, underneath the all the Anime, general insanity, and the wonderful technology that comes out of the place, it is not the beautiful bastion that weeby types always see it as.
