Yeah Tammy literally had half of her body blown away but techically we are still at war with North Korea and each and every year we don't finish the job the bloodier that war will get. Essentially millions would die in that war. Every single war in most of our life times would have nothing on what that war would be like.

Now we have funded them to get a nuke so they wouldn't get a nuke so many in South Korea would be dead in minutes.

Also those with flat feet and other issues shouldn't be in the Military. People with flat feet are in the military now but let's be honest they are not mostly in the field and in a true war. Anyone whose dated a woman with flat feet and even knows a professional athlete with flat feet knows what they can do and how long they can play is limited

As an Illinoisan, nope. She's actually a pretty inept campaigner and doesn't inspire any confidence. She's the type of candidate that looks good on paper and then when you actually see her campaign you just don't care about her anymore. She makes Hillary look personable by comparison.

She's the type of politician that is essentially made to be a legislator but a jump up to a major executive position would be really out of her element and almost assuredly not attract very much broad appeal support.

I think you're overvaluing state GOP chances previously. Kirk only won due to initial unpopularity at the Dems over the early Obamacare debate (and over the Burris appointment by Blago), and Rauner only won because he was running against freaking Pat Quinn. Neither had a chance in normal circumstances.

I think you're overvaluing state GOP chances previously. Pat Quinn if you remember won because he said something southern voters like. I believe our state has 106 counties and for a democrat to win office they need only 6. Its a very small number so I can be off by a number or two.

However if you remember Pat Quinn made headlines by saying he would have the National Guard march on Chicago. Everyone not of Cook County instantly had a hard on. This pissed off Democrats but what are they going to do, vote for the Republican? lol

Rauner literally lied and fooled many of us. At this point he's being primaried but I think at this point the Republicans are screwed after what Rauner has done.

I have always advocated removing the bases in Korea because they're within range of N. Korean artillery and missiles. It's safer and easier to move the troops to Japan, and use carriers and other ships to carry out strikes if there ever was an attack.

Also would save the US military millions each year.
