tbh, I think the last time I finished a dex was silver or ruby (excluding event Pokemon). I don't see as much appeal to it any more.

I have a living dex stored in the bank, so I dont ever have to go through that again.

Closest I ever got was in HeartGold where I completed the Pokedex for Gens 1 to 3, but never finished the Gen 4 part.

I can't even imagine filling in all 7 Gens (it's 7 now right?), mad respect dude.

tbh, HG/SS moved so sluggishly I never finished the game. (Well, that and I tried Nuzlocke while ditching my starter right away which, while a bit difficult, mostly just wasn't any fun.)

I did this in X and Y, but since Sun and Moon don't have a national dex, I didn't bother with them. Hopefully the next Pokemon game is actually good.
