Now kids have phones and upload videos of themselves acting stupid to be permanently archived and get extensive negative feedback from any and every human being with a desire to bully them as well as solicitations from sexual predators and people trying to scam them while we as a society are subjected to, in our every waking moment, information from across the world of every dumb or aggravating or mean thing about every person and how it relates to us. Constant bombardment of negative and often false information.

Kids today are growing up in a very tough time and people in recent past generations had it way easier.

Back when special insterests groups literally started a crusade against popular music in a lengthy federal trial?

Or when parent's groups began mass letter writing campaigns and marches in response to an episode of a show where Al Bundy visited a lingerie shop?

Or when several video game companies were blamed for several disparate crimes?

Or when parent's bought in to a psychologist's theory that Batman and Robin were in a homosexual romance and that the show and comics were an attempt to brainwash children to support it?

Or when Britain created the Video Nasties and banned a crapton of movies we now can buy at any place that sells DVDs now?

Or when television was legally obligated to show bad guys get in trouble at the end, forcing several movies to alter their endings?

I think you guys are missing the point, which is that these things were made in a world where they didn't think not to make them. Kids were tougher then from riding their bikes outside and having to get porn the old-fashioned way. Now they don't even bother to make R-rated action figures because people complained wah nerf the world we're weeping pussies. Hence Trump.

Disney actually blocked any and all toys based on Marvel movies that were not in house (aka no X-Men, F4, or Spider-Man toys based on the movies)

Except, that at the same time, people were literally freaking out about Married With Children, Doom, and Grand Theft Auto. That's not even getting into the PMRC, which is levels above anything we have today. Every era has had something like that, too. Hell, All in the Family caused massive controversy. Scarface (the original) had to have its ending changed for Scarface to see his comeuppance. Hell, Indiana Jones (another popular toy) was considered offensive enough that they had to create a whole nother rating in between PG and R.

That's from 2009 but it's the most recent R-rated superhero movie I can think of that isn't Marvel.

It's not about controversy it's about how today people would never allow them to market a movie to kids where someone gets stabbed in the face.

How would the magnetic field of the earth be affected if the earth turned into a giant uterus with an equal radius to that of the earth?

As far as I know there is no rapidly spinning iron core in an uterus, which could potentially mean that there would be no magnetic field and we would be subjected to the sun's harmful radiation. However there is a chance the mineral iron contained within the flesh of the uterus itself might end up concentrating at the center due to the pull of gravity. It's not certain though.

Literally moving the goal posts.

Again, though, if you think the 'toughness' of society is based on their ability to capitalize on movies and sell merchandise based on those films to children, I guess that's your choice. Either way though, there was much more meddling and many more 'concerned parent's groups' that raised a helluva lot more stink during the so-called 'tough' era, and you are just choosing to ignore that and fixate on why there isn't a toy for a recent R rated movie.
