When the main character of your trilogy is infamously terrible at acting and even accomplished actors spoke classically terrible lines and Jar Jar, there is only so much upside. The movies don't even look very good. They haven't aged as well as something from the same time like Lord of the Rings or even the original trilogy to be honest. At least the OT has the excuse of being really old in comparison. Lol troll confirmed So Jar Jar and Anakin are better acted than characters in the new movies? There are even more, even cringier lines that will go down in history? The PT visually looks better and holds up compared to other movies released around that time? On a subjective note, do you really even want the PT to be canon given how they thought midichlorians, trade disputes, and turning Anakin into a little bitch were good ideas?
