I played it on ps4 and on pc
I think it's better on pc, but prefer controller (was easy to set up though)

It's the definitive version. But it's still a good game regardless of platform.

Yeah it's tailored for consoles of sure. Maxed out on PC doesn't look that different sans resolution, and 60fps doesn't make that big of a difference since you're in dialog 50% of the game.

idk I gave it a fair shot, but the combat lacked variety, weapons didn't feel that difference from each-other....I didn't like that I was playing someone else and not my own RP.

There were some crazy set pieces for an RPG this large, though. It def makes Skyrim and Fallout 4 LOOK extremely dated but The Witcher 3 doesn't give you nearly as much freedom in the game-world....you can't do anything that seems super out of character for Geralt or w/e his name is.

I'll give it another go at some point.

I played it on PC with controller. Could not imagine playing with KB+M personally.

I mean.... No. It's one of those rare titles that was designed specifically with PC in mind and then ported to consoles after the fact, and not the other way around.
