Does Metroid Prime 4 release this year? We only got a teaser image last year.
Does Animal Crossing come out this year? Nintendo releases mobile titles with the explicit intent of marketing upcoming games.
Does Pokemon Switch hit this year? And if it does, is it accompanied by either a Switch price drop or lower-cost console revision aimed at families?
Will Nintendo port Smash 4? If so, do you think this pushes off development of a Smash 5?

I don't think they have one... Albeit there's some virtual console stuff and Zelda DLC in the works still. But to my knowledge... erm nothing?

What does they don't have one mean? They've already announced Kirby, Yoshi, Fire Emblem, Metroid, Bayonetta, and Pokemon games are coming to the Switch. On average, Nintendo publish ~20 games a year on down years, and ~30 games a year on hot years. We're getting a Nintendo Direct this month. You don't think it'll have anything about the upcoming year?

What's left? XBX, Smash, #FE, Mario Maker? I could see Xenoblade coming over. I'm not sure about Smash. #FE, who knows. I think Mario Maker will be the basis for the next 2D Mario game.

god I want good Mario sports games again. The 3DS Golf game was fine, and the Tennis one had that cool, if slight, 2D Mario section, but it's been a long time since I was excited about an upcoming Mario sports game.

Do you have a Switch? If so, have you checked out Golf Story?

Someone who is allegedly reliable said Bayonetta 3 this year. This wouldn't be a shocker, Nintendo don't announce stuff ages away with rare exceptions (hello MP4).

Considering AC: Pocket Camp, I think an Animal Crossing announcement is imminent this year if not this month.

I only say this because Pokemon Sun and Moon was released a few months after Pokemon Go, and Super Mario Odyssey was announced a few months after Super Mario Run came out. A Fire Emblem game on Switch/3DS came out 8 months after the Android/iOS game. I think it's clear that Nintendo is using mobile apps/games as a form of marketing/hype building more than as actual revenue generators. IIRC, Nintendo's been disappointed with the revenue from Super Mario Run and AC: Pocket Camp, and they didn't make Pokemon Go; they licensed that to Niantic.
