It's like almost every other modern Mario game I've played: boring, easy, short, and it holds your hand all the time.

if you didn't like the other 3d mario series 9like with me) then you really shouldn't bother with it

It's just Super Mario 64 part 2.

The game doesn't really get challenging until after you beat it and start the after game star collecting, but even then the challenge isn't from the game play it's just from trying to track down like 800 stars.

That's about the only bad things I can think of.

I can easily say this song makes the purchase worth it, though.

Doing the bare minimum is easy. Collecting all of the moons isn't.

Most of the challenging platforming segments are behind the Hat doors. The final mainline level is pretty challenging though.
