People act as if they're doing the world a favour by having kids. Have kids if you want them, but don't act as if you're doing something special.

To me having children is awesome in a cool way. When you die, you're body and personal dna is gone forever. But if you have your own kids, you live on through them. Half of them is you. And after they die, you'll live on through their kids that will also have your DNA and so on into the future.

Can you believe that right now each and every one of us is alive because for thousands of years your ancestors DNA has been passed on without fail? You could have the DNA of freaking Vikings or Roman soldiers or Spartans that fought in conquests and so on.

It's such a cool freaking thought to know your ancestors DNA is what you're made of.

I have a kid, I'm against a lot of immigration to Canada unless it's skilled work, marriage, etc. I know it's a bit hypocritical because I myself am an immigrant to another country at the moment but I at least help the economy. The Polish in England and a lot of the Mexicans in the US don't be cause they send all their money back to family in those countries instead of spending it there.
