CZ sp01 tactical, it's 560 now too.
i live and die CZ and if i were going to war or had to go fight in the streets my sp-01 would be on my hip, but it is an all steel handgun thats pretty damn heavy to have on your side for 9hours a day. the phantom might be the better option or go p-07 if you have mid-size hands.

True, they are a bit on the heavy side due to all steel construction, but on the plus side the weight will help reduce the muzzle rise.

I used to work for the Federal Air Marshal Service & with the FBI.

Glock 19 or Sig Sauer P229 (.357 or 9mm). P229 chambered in .357 is the Air Marshal load and they have the highest qual standard in the Federal Service.

Do your homework. Low maintenance is best .40 & .45 can have jamming problems. +P can wear out the barrel prematurely.

FYI the FBI just went back to .9mm Glock 19s after years at .40.

Hollow points mean business! I only buy Federal Premium.

I recommend the Glock 19. Gen 4 is fine, maybe cheaper than the new gen. Only significant difference is the ambidextrous magazine release. Significant only if you're a lefty.

Probably will get in trouble for posting. Msg me for future replies.

I'm just an old guy who likes to play Bloodborne 20 hours a week and lurks here otherwise.......

glock 19 if you can fit your hands on it, glock 17 if it is too small.

the gen 5 have no finger grooves. that is the biggest difference to me. with a gen 4 you can swap sides of mag release.

p01 or pcr for cz. Alloy, not full steel. 14+1 capacity and can still hold 16 flush with a tad sticking out.

I liked my p07 a whole but eventually sold it because every time I carried IWB that fucker was sticking sharp edges into me. I heard the new design is better though, and you'll be outside the waistband.

They dont provide you a service weapon?! Thats ridiculous! All officers should have the same gun, so that clips and ammo can be used among other officers in an emergency.

Yeah I don't get this

Thanks for the recs guys I'm gonna get something popular because they the department fixes anything wrong with ever if they carry the supplies for that weapon. So glocks of course they would but lesser known they wouldn't.

And you choose your weapon since every everyone has different hands and feelings. One same weapon would be bad. We are using a bigger handgun right now and all the women can't even hold it up

A lot of agencies will use one or a very small number of options to meet that need. Cuts down on acquisition cost, training for gunsmiths, ordering ammunition, etc.

Ehhhh, after a while of Gunsmithing, you'd realize handguns are for the most part variants of the good ol' Browning designs with their own minor differences, so taking apart and putting them back together isn't the hardest thing to figure out.
