Yeah, several time. Most recent was earlier in the year, 50 towards a fund for a sick child with a rare disease to get treatment. The NHS would only fund half because his chances were so low, so I donated. He's getting the treatment but deteriorated. I really hope it's successful.

Any time I go to McDonalds, I usually drop a $5 or a $10 in the Ronald McDonald House charity box. They helped my family out when I was a teenager so Ive probably given back at least a few hundred over the years.

Ive never given a big donation to any one cause but Ive given anywhere from $5-$20 here and there to the local food bank, state parks, a childrens hospital, etc.

Brother does one of those cycling things to collect money for something or another once a year, so I donate to that.
Otherwise, here and there when they have a table for donations in stores, or if they collect at the register at the grocery store or Walmart.

It is if it's driving them into the poor house.

It didn't until they were kicked out and had to find a new space. I feel sorry for their situation but running at a $40,000 deficit when they only charge artists $20 to draw is hard to overcome.

Companies, charities all the time.
People sometimes, prefer they humiliate themselves for it though that way it's somewhat earned.

You 'donated' to me for just being rational in a topic once. Before that I hadn't been aware of who you were. Ironically people called me a butt kisser because I expressed my sincere gratitude in that topic.

Yeah I gave $20 to the fire fighters doing a food bank drive last night. It was worth it for the look on my sons face when he saw the firetruck with lights on.

I like to give between $5-20 here and there. I like donating to the food bank and the legion especially.

I can't remember it lol, but sounds something I'd do.

The butt kisser part likely is to do with me far more than you since I'm known to have a fetish for people literally kissing my ass, but you know, chances are they were just jealous lol.

I think, iirc, a lot of people were saying negative stuff about you and how you were 'throwing your $ away' so I said something like, Why do you care how people spend their money? and you replied that you liked my attitude and gave me $500. I thought you were kidding until it appeared in my paypal acct.

I've donated plenty of times to different charities, usually for children or animals. Also spent over a decade rehabilitating close to 400 abused large breed dogs.

Recently though I have been trying to raise and save money for my own surgery so I haven't gone out of my way to donate for other causes. If I ever make it and have extra then I will probably end up donating that surplus to one cause or another.

I donate roughly 15% of my income to various charities.

I also used to volunteer at a local animal shelter and the food bank. But now I'm working more and don't have as much time.
