While I voted Calvin and Hobbes, I do understand Garfield having a good amount of votes.

Dilbert is not only funny, but smart, and still relevant to this day.

Scott Adams is also super smart, and I wish he was my grandpa.

Yeah, but theyd be based on familiarity rather than actual worth. Those comics were horrible. Theyre like dad jokes without the punchline...

(I voted Calvin and Hobbes.)

F-Minus and Cul De Sac

But of the classics, yeah, Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts are probably the best ones.

Calvin and Hobbes is enjoyable, but it's repetitive and frustrating. Probably doesn't help its creator is a pretentious ass "I refuse to allow marketing for stuff Hobbes because that would settle his realistic transgression into confirmation." It's a comic strip, get over yourself...

idk, was tempted to say Spider-Man -- which was a newspaper comic strip -- but it's kinda cheating. Right now, my favorite series of newspaper cartoons is Stan Kelly's stuff, but comics could be anything. Went with Fox Trot since I didn't spot Dilbert and I'm sure the others I like will get votes.

Because it's good? And it's not that many compared to C&K

This is also how I feel about Garfield. I can understand people liking pretty much any of the rest, but Garfield doesn't even have a joke half the time and when it does it's not clever or actually funny. I feel like Garfield and those that love it come from a parallel world where humor is different and inserted themselves into this one.
