Like everything looked great and I started the game and the resolution went to shit. I quit the game, restarted and it still looks awful. Drivers are up to date, says the video card is working properly. Wtf happened?

Try changing your resolution to what it should be. You can get there from right clicking on your desktop.

right click game exe > run with graphics processor > change default graphics processor

If you have windows 10
You can go to PC Settings then Display then change the display that way? Also MEGAsoldier posted... I had this happen. My PC was using its integrated graphics card instead of the one I put in.
