11 years. I know a few people who died young from cancer, so I'd want to give them advanced warning to get checked up before the disease metastasizes. The first died about 9 years ago, so tack on a couple extra years to make sure it's caught early.

2 or 3 years back. That's way more money than I'd ever need and I can certainly live a well off life with it invested.

I go back one year, win every lottery in the state, and put 500 thousand into bitcoin when it was at about 700 immediately. Then when I receive my hundred of millions (along with a thousand dollars everyday from NY's cash for life) I put in another $19,500,000 into BTC at a bit over 750-800 a coin.

This way, I can safely spend up to 100 million of my 500+ million dollars in lottery winnings, have a thousand dollars more everyday, and cash out for roughly $200,000,000 over the past few months. I'd also take a lot of time looking into stocks, trusts, and so on to find the best, safest way to put 50-100 million of my BTC profits in, while also investment another 50+ million overtime to make sure no matter what, my family and I are set for life for generations.

Why would anyone choose to go forward? There's literally no reason to do so.
I'd go back a few years. Like 10-15 years. Enough to not have to work ever again. (heck, even simply 5 years would do, I suppose, if I'm not an idiot with the money)
