What do you guys think of this article? I know its pretty old but I think theres some truth to it, especially with western women.

No one should feel like they have to date or sleep with someone they don't want to. Be as picky or as accepting as you want.

I mean from personal experience every girl except one or two have been very weird when it comes to going out or just trying to know them.

Although maybe its just me and my sucky social skills, but it seems they are distant or very critical until I tell them about my career and prospects.

I mean real prostitution, where you pay for sex as a service. The article isn't about sex, but I'd argue sex is a key part of it. I think some people put up with a lot because they want sex, and if they had a way to get all the sex they want outside of a relationship, I'd argue the dynamics would change drastically. The pickiness comes because they have a valuable commodity. I mean, the whole "wife withholding sex" thing is a cliche for a reason.

Further, why would you want to be with someone that lowered their standards to be with you? It would always be in the back of your mind. Honestly, that is a very unattractive quality in a relationship.

I agree with this 100%. I wouldnt want to be with a girl knowing I was her second or third pick. Id rather she find a partner she's content with.

I think its more about actually getting a date for men than it is about being picky. Women have a lot more options and paths, but then that doesn't mean they should have to lower their own standards in a way.

Breakdown in social communication probably have something to do with this tbh. Alot of the younger generation can't socialize or relate to people for a damn thing. Phones are horrible in this regard
