And in that video, Tucker Carlson does exactly what Mal_Fet did and hones in on one specific sentence and ignores the rest of the article. And what does Ekow Yankah say?

"I think if that's the only part of the article you read, it might sound like that. If the people who call themselves your 'friends' are not going to push back against (Trump) then maybe you should tell me why I should trust those people? "

Tucker Carlson again goes back to that one specific sentence, and Ekow Yankah responds:

"I'm a little worried that you keep reading the same parts without...you would make it seem as though the entire piece was just that paragraph."

The people against this all have the same strategy: refuse to look at the whole argument being made, and focus on one sentence in the hopes of fooling someone into believing it's all that he wrote. It's pathetic.

If blacks were a majority and they voted in a President that empowered gangs that were actively trying to cleanse the nation of white people, then I would definitely teach my kids not to trust any black people who voted for that guy. I would also teach them not to trust any black moderates who ignored their cries for help. That's not unreasonable. You can't be friends with someone who doesn't actually care about you.
