I can't find out info on this but wouldn't the CEOs of the company also use the company services and thus have their information compromised too?

Probably but there are 2 possibilities:
1. They are in the system, some cosmic justice might ensue
2. They aren't in the system, meaning they don't have faith in their own product, they could be punished or at least admonished for this.

Equifax gets its info from banks and other financial institutions who are running credit checks for them.

So odds are he had something that went through Equifax.
