If they were gonna fire you it would have been at the end of your shift. It's just how they do. I've watched absences get completely wiped because people liked the person fucking up. I've also watched 8-10 year associates lose their job over it, so if you need this job, and they give you that second chance, take it seriously. Especially talking late june, lol.

You said you were over six months though, correct? Their chance to nuke you has come and gone. If you got past six, you're permanent part time, and your cap raises to 9.

Yes. I've been seeing a therapist for a few years and it's helped me a lot. I went from being unable to leave my bedroom to only having a panic attack a few times a month ^^

Yeah Wally's like that. They recently fired a woman who had worked there over 10 years because she got sick and had to be hospitalized for more days than she was alotted by WM. They don't take doctors notes in even serious situations

It felt bad to let him go, as he was a good guy and trying to clean up, but it wasn't the right job for him. Last I heard he works somewhere else that's a much better fit.

It's almost always a blessing in disguise, even if it's stressful at first.
