Are you willing to travel?

No

Yes, 10%
Yes, 20%
Yes, 30%

and on and on

does that mean how far youre willing to travel? I put down 10% because I assume that means local. I aint looking to travel all over for the job but this job likely wont require it.

I usually take it as how often you'd have to travel out of an office's remote location, rather than how far out distance-wise.

Yes, typically it is a reference to the percent of time spent traveling rather than distance.

Ah, well that makes sense. this job likely wont require my position to travel much if at all, so 10% sounds good to me. didnt want to put No because having some flex will make me a better candidate.

Yea, that means how much of your job would be travel. For example when that question was posed to me for a job I was applying to, they said I would need to travel about one week a month. The actually traveling could be anywhere from 10 minutes from the office, to a job site in India, and anywhere in between.

I ended up not taking that job because that was a bit too much travel for me. My current job has no travel.

I'd take all expenses paid trips to India if my job allowed it!
