it ranges from bad to kinda good, with more on the bad side. It kinda follows a multi-episode arc sort of format, so sometimes you'll get interesting arcs with interesting characters, but more often you're following around annoying dopes like Ahsoka or 3PO. Yes, there are 3PO centric episodes and they are terrible.

It's better than TPM, AoTC, and TFA.

Seasons 1 and part of 2 are skippable but after that it gets good and stays good. Also it gets surprisingly dark at many times.

star wars the clone wars starts off pretty slow and weak, but when it picks up it becomes insanely great

season 2 has one of the best arcs in the series (imo) being landing at point rain, and there are many arcs that add to character backstory, especially anakin making his dark side turn much more better

the show has got a surprising amount of dark moments

ahsoka is meh at first but god damn she becomes a badass

if you do pick it up i would suggest watching in chronological order so you don't get confused, it's pretty easy to find a list showing the order

Yo, would I be missing too much if I skip the Jar Jar eps? I just COULD NOT stand him in every ep he has been in so far and I've just started Season 2 and he's literally the only reason I'm hesitating to even continue watching. He's just that unbearable to me >_>

Like it's fine if it's maybe a scene or two, but if an ep even telegraphs even a tiny bit that it's Jar Jar focus, I just REALLY want to press the skip button

Like it's fine if it's maybe a scene or two, but if an ep even telegraphs even a tiny bit that it's Jar Jar focus, I just REALLY want to press the skip button

I think the only jar jar centric episodes that you shouldn't miss are the ones where he teams up with mace windu
tbh you can skip any episodes so long as you skip the entire arc, but you should watch all of the anakin, obi-wan, and clones centric ones as they're the most consistent
ahsoka centric ones pick up after the time skip as well

There are kiddie moments, and then some episodes are pretty hardcore, like the one on Geonosis. It's pretty inconsistent in that respect.

While Jar Jar is annoying, I honestly didn't mind some of his episodes. He saved Padme a few times, including taking off his helmet and giving it to Padme to keep her from being infected by the Blue Shadow Virus.

100 episodes is a lot to watch if almost half of them arent good.

it's not even close to half of them. maybe 30% tops if you're really picky

I feel this way too, but some people are babies when it comes to things like this, and while I don't understand people like this I never-the-less feel compelled to cater to them.

Very few things would I ever recommend skipping.

MAYBE the first season of Parks and Recreation because it is HORRIBLE. Watching it gets you nothing which can't even be said for something like early simpsons or late the office.

Watched an episode where Yoda cut through a bunch of heavy duty tanks like butter when in the movies they could barely cut through a metal door.

I like Anakin and the shows humour so far but is very kiddy and over the too. I basically have to turn my brain off. Hopefully it gets a bit more dark/ realistic/ gritty.

I skipped episodes (mostly in the earlier seasons) when I watched through it, and from watching some after finishing the series I think I was better off for it lol

Either way, it's worth a watch TC, it can be inconsistent, but there are definitely some really cool moments

It's an excellent show. Just skip all the episodes focused on Padme, Jar Jar, R2, and 3P0. There aren't that many per season.
