If you complete the
Weapon durability was also not an issue for me. So much so that late in the game I was actually struggling to manage a consistently full inventory. --- Off with the horns, On with the show! ... Copied to Clipboard!

It doesn't get better.
I tried to tell people when the game first came out. It's good, it's not great and definitely not a 10/10 perfect title. It does open-world well enough, but it's lacking in so many other aspects it's hard to wrap your mind around it, especially when braindead gamers were too busy collecting four pages of garbage and trying to cook it to realize the game was so lacking. The story is the weakest element, which is unforgivable in a Zelda title. Once you've fought a band of enemies, you've really fought them all, so combat comes up lacking about an hour or two into your Breath of the Wild experience. The sidequests are generic and weak compared to what we've come to expect from previous entries. Go take a photo. Bring me this fancy stick. Wow, you did it! Here's 20 rupees. Go spend ten years farming rupees for this house. Annnnd it sucks. Woo-hoo. Painfully upgrade it by doing each upgrade individually in a series of long, tedious and unskippable conversations and animations. Annnd it still sucks. Woo. Fucking. Hoo. Uh-oh, here comes a Guardian! Look, he killed your horse. Better head to the death-has-no-consequences-fairy. Don't get me wrong. It's a good game, as said. But it's nothing special. It's entertaining, but not memorable. It can kill some time for you, but you won't feel content when you're done. --- Man of the People - Hero of the Hour http://imgur.com/H3MsnzZ ... It sounds like TC is just bad at the game.

Remember when CE couldn't shut up about how much they hate Open world games Probably because Nintendo struck gold with their open world. They seemed to have pinned down what's bad about other open world games: the movement. Travelling in Skyrim, The Witcher 3, Far Cry etc. just fucking sucks. Walking sucks, the horses and vehicles are barely any better. So you just fast travel wherever. I found myself fast travelling less in botw than any other open world game besides Just Cause. You know what these two games have in common? A hang glider/parachute. Hang gliders are fucking awesome. Especially in Botw, where you can catch sick air from a shield surf down a mountain, then take off on your glider Anyway, I digress...Botw is a playground with the best toys we've been given to play with in it, but if that's not your thing, you won't like it --- Posted with GameRaven 3.2.2 ... I'm tired by uninspired open world games. Like Watch Dogs. Hell I think that game burnt a lot of people.
There are plenty this generation that are not this. --- Kind Regards, Darmik ... Copied to Clipboard!

Exploration is better in BotW because you can glean all you need from the information you're given by characters, through visual and audio cues, and by looking at the basic map. No map markers or arbitrary beacons necessary. IMO, the best way to play the game is with is with the HUD set to pro.
