As someone who stopped playing around the time the dragon structure deck was around, i dunno wtf you guys are talking. I kinda wanted to go back and give the game a go, but i fear it's a complete different beast from what i used to play

Oh the game is absolutely ridiculous. They just recently added "Link" monsters, which adds a grid based RTS-esque strategy element to targeting and effects.

Pendulums are half monsters/half spells that let you do mass summons once per turn.

Wavering Eyes is a stupid card that pops all the pendulum scales on the field and lets you stack effects based on how many were destroyed. Most (good) pendulum do stuff when destroyed.

Fun game, but its soooo ridiculous. Kinda wish theyd start supporting an official "Duel Links" format, because that game is probably the most fun Ive had with Yugioh in ages lol.

If you want to get back in thw game, start with some friends and just use the structure decks to get a feel. Link structure decks come out in November IIRC, but theres a started deck now if you dont want to wait.

I have yet to actually make good use of pendulums. I just hope they make it into Duel Links soon. They'd be pretty balanced, and it'd help with the stagnating meta. Considering they make it so Pendulums take of 2 of the 3 S/T

I just wanna freaking get to synchros already. It's gonna take a whole year to get there at this rate though.

We already have fusion. Why do we need more fusion? GX was barely a step above DM to begin with

GX enforced archetypes mainly. The only fusion from the first couple of seasons that mattered is probably Cyber twin, and Cyber end actually.

Most of Jadens fusions are garbage. Its the omni heroes and masked heroes that are good
