- Taking science program, entire first year is made up of "mandatory electives" where your timetable is filled 90%+ with courses like sociology, philosophy, gender studies
- Get gouged everywhere you turn via outrageous textbook, parking, room/board prices - Most programs are easily going for $20,000 for the first year alone, with prices increasing every year. If you're in a STEM program, triple this figure - Professors teach you nothing then create tests deliberately trying to fail you. Can learn all of the material on your own via the internet - Social scene is garbage as most students are young, inexperienced and trying to piece their lives together as they get beat down by the university - Surrounded by pompous and arrogant academics with no real world experience - If you somehow manage to graduate there's a good chance you'll end up mowing lawns or making coffee at starbucks What's the point? --- ...
