Board 8 > Car in front of me lost control today.

I'm okay, but it scared me.


This car coming toward me lost control in the rain and swerved to the right hard into a ditch...big chunk of dirt flew into the air. It then came back onto the road and did a 360 in the middle. It continued off on the other side of the road, into the grass again. The driver pulls a fast u-turn and her car stops in the middle of the road now, car smoking at the front.

I pull over and she says she's okay -- asked me not to call anyone and said she felt fine. She was most upsrt her airbag didn't go off. I cautiously drove off from there.

If I had been five or so seconds further along the road, I would have been dead-ass hit; it was terrifying to watch it go down while slamming my own brakes.

It reminded me of when I was in high school and drove past a fallen eighteen wheeler...then five minutes later, I passed by cops and ambulances flying toward the accident. There's no way that accident happened long before I got there. Now there's a cross by the road right where that accident happened, in memory of a guy crushed in his truck that I didn't even see that day. This isn't the first time I was real close to another car's accident, but I watched it this time. =/

Life is strange.

Is it bad I wanted to rewind time like LiS to solve this puzzle? I would have left twenty seconds earlier and flashed my headlights at her to slow her down.

I've never had an accident, but almost had one because brakes went out. It still haunts me from time to time.
