MasterGakke 09/11/17 5:40:06 PM #2:	I played in a youth hockey league that made everybody stand and remove their helmets for the anthem before every game. Even worse, because of some insurance stuff you weren't allowed to be on the ice for hockey without a helmet, so everybody had to crowd into the benches. Finding space to set down your gloves and stick to remove your helmet on a crowded bench took forever, so the whole thing was a complete waste of 5+ minutes so a bunch of bored kids could ignore a burned out cassette of the anthem played over a crackling PA. Ice time is like $500/hour for context.
