23 y/o Cara Mund from North Dakota beat out 50 other women to become the new Miss America..and became the FIRST in her State to win the title!!. Although she interned for a Republican, she said that President Trump was wrong to pull out of the United States as she said "He was wrong to withdraw the US from the climate accord aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global warming. It's a bad decision. There is evidence that climate change is existing and we need to be at that table."

She also said that she wanted to be the first woman elected to North Dakota governor of her state as she wants to see more women in all levels of government as she said men makes all the decisions on women's reproductive rights.

Jennifer Davis from Missouri on the other hand who was Runner-up said Trump was INNOCENT of any collusion with Russia but said that if any real evidence comes up then the law should take its course against him.

Cara also beat out Texas Favourite and Liberal die hard, Miss Texas Margana Wood who said that Michelle Obama is her inspiration as she captured the hearts of America and made a shout out to her home state that was hammered by Hurricane Harvey...
